School of Magic
ABOUT
SOLARCRAFT is a coming-of-age comic about five young wizards who attend a magic school that teaches four types of magic: enchantments, curses, potions, and wishes. Each wizard is assigned a different branch depending on their individual abilities. When one of them takes notice to the fact that the school is ignoring those who don't fall into one of those categories, she makes it her mission to figure out what that fifth type of magic is, and why the school refuses to teach it.
DEVELOPMENT
SOLARCRAFT is a project that I started in the second semester of my first year of college, and finally began publishing on Webtoon roughly a year later, December of 2019. It's currently on hiatus because of technological issues, but the story will hopefully be back on track again soon. The story follows five wizards: an enchantress named Blanche Williams, a sorceress named Lavender Boucher, a witch named Honey Chronis, an enchantor named Augustin Maybloom, and an apothecary named Sebastian d'Angelo. Throughout the comic, they'll do their best to uncover the secrets their school is keeping about the true nature of deviant wizards like Io Rex (pictured right, purple hair) and two of her classmates. I also plan on including my own versions of popular figures and legends in this story as characters - most importantly, the Pied Piper, who will appear as a spiteful violinist.
